On Friday, 4th of April 2008, Digital Dreams sponsored a hole at the Hear and Say Centre Charity Golf Day. The event was held at The Glades Golf and Spa with all proceeds made from the day going to the Hear and Say Centre. This was a fantastic opportunity for Digital Dreams to give something back to the community as well as having a great time.

The weather was a liitle windy which saw some people swept off their feet. All in all though, it was a nice sunny day and everyone enjoyed their 18 hole round of golf.

Each hole was sponsored by a different company and the hole that Digital Dreams sponsored included Tropical Dream and Lime Margarita cocktails for all players as well as a fun game of giant inflatable darts. Everyone had a great time and the Bendigo Bank team of players won the $100 prize voucher donated by Digital Dreams for the highest darts score.

The Hear and Say Centre is one of the leading Paediatric Auditory-Verbal and cochlear implant centres in the world, teaching children who are deaf or hearing impaired to listen and speak since 1992. The Centre aims for its children to achieve speech and language in the normal range for their age by six years of age giving them the opportunity for a mainstream education, employment of choice and social integration with the hearing world. The Centre is a charity based in Brisbane with regional centres on the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Cairns and Toowoomba with an Outreach program for rural and remote children. It is a family based program recognizing the parent as the natural language teacher of the child.
